Education

PHCC-Minnesota is offering a Continuing Education Series at various locations throughout the state beginning in September. “This is a value-added service to the industry as we help keep your employees up to date on code, new techniques and technologies, and the latest products,” said David Radziej, the association’s executive director. It is our hope that members will take full advantage of this. Having the classes at various locations should make it easier for our busy contractors, who won’t need to travel far from their home base.”

*Classes can be customized for individual firms of 10+ students.

For questions, contact David Radziej at [email protected]

ST. CLOUD TECHNICAL & COMMUNITY COLLEGE

Washing clothes, taking a shower, getting a drink of water, and running through a sprinkler—all of these activities share one expectation: When the water is turned on, it’s going to be there. We take this for granted every day, thanks to the expertise and care of those in the plumbing field. And when plumbing isn’t working, we rely on the quick response of these same individuals.

A plumbing degree provides the skills and know-how to efficiently, safely, and effectively move water where it needs to go. This may mean moving horizontally across a single-story home or vertically up 15 floors in an apartment building.

Want career flexibility? With a plumbing degree, you can put your skills to work in construction, as a service technician, pipefitter, or sprinkler fitter, and in facility maintenance. You can even own your own company.
